The crew
Two engineering students from ECAM LaSalle, one Renault 4L and a rather unusual mascot.

21, engineering student at ECAM LaSalle, from Verquières in the Bouches-du-Rhône. Cycling, mountain sports and car mechanics: give Pierre a hill to climb or a bolt to tighten and it's as good as done.

Born in California, raised in Provence, and shaped by travel and other cultures ever since. Motorsport is Marcel's thing, from karting as a kid all the way to races on international circuits.

The adventure
The 4L Trophy is Europe's largest student humanitarian rally-raid. For its 30th edition, more than 1,200 crews drive across France, Spain and Morocco in Renault 4Ls, with nothing but a compass and a roadbook to find their way.
The goal: deliver school supplies and sports equipment to children in southern Morocco, with the charity Enfants du Désert. Every crew packs its share of donations, plus a healthy dose of solidarity.
